This used revitalized recorder represents a new and exciting evolution of the instrument. The windway has been upgraded with custom designed Clearway ceramic inlays which absorb moisture. This eliminates the common problem of clogging, to such an extent that the instrument can be played for an hour with no warming up and without condensation becoming an issue (see video). The optimized instrument has the robust tone quality typical of grenadilla but is not heavy to hold. With its excellent tuning and easy fluid high range, it is a professional level instrument in many ways.
